A MESSAGE FROM ROSE CAMERON WAT-AAH! CEO/Founder

I founded WAT-AAH! based on the conviction that I knew the key to persuading kids to adopt a healthier lifestyle is to not lecture them on what was “good for them,” but instead to make the healthier alternative more exciting, more appealing and more culturally relevant.

It is with great enthusiasm that WAT-AAH! – the brand I created with my two sons – presents Taking Back the Streets (TBTS) to celebrate the power of street art to convey a positive message reminding kids and teens that choosing to drink water is one of the best, easiest and coolest decisions they can make each and every day.

The launch event at New York City’s New Museum was remarkable as I was granted the opportunity to give the First Lady Michelle Obama a tour of the full exhibit, introducing her to the work of 13 of today’s preeminent street artists which was inspired by the Partnership for a Healthier America’s Drink Up initiative and WAT-AAH!.

Which brings me to today... I am excited to say that since WAT-AAH!’s TBTS kicked off we have taken the First Lady’s support and furthered our commitment to this campaign. Since our first exhibit in New York City we have decided to bring our artist series on the road with the agenda of exhibiting in key cities all over the country beginning with Washington D.C. then moving to Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and more. WAT-AAH!’s TBTS has also committed to installing murals showcasing TBTS art in every city we exhibit starting with our flagship mural in New York City; #WATAAHWALL.

But, if we’re going to really impact kids and teens then we need to expand into more than just street art. We need to engage kids with our campaign through music, special events, celebrity partnerships and more.

So welcome to WAT-AAH! Streets where you can experience all of what TBTS has to offer.

Please enjoy!
